It is very important to know that KoolFreedom is a place where everyone can enjoy a peaceful environment. No matter if you're new here, or a veteran, you should feel at peace when on any KoolFreedom platform. With that being said, we are not super strict with rules, but we do indeed have rules.

Network-Wide

These apply everywhere, no exceptions.

DDoSing and doxxing are strictly prohibited. Attacking our infrastructure or exposing another person's private information results in a permanent ban across all platforms and, where applicable, a report to law enforcement.
Illegal content of any kind results in an immediate permanent ban across all platforms.
Platform Terms of Service are enforced on their respective platforms. Violating Discord's ToS on Discord, or Minecraft's EULA on the server, results in a ban on that platform.
Ban evasion is not tolerated. If any account you own is banned on any KoolFreedom platform, you may not access that platform on an alternate account. All associated accounts receive a permanent ban if caught.

Discord

The following are not permitted:

Slurs used to demean or target someone based on race, gender, sexuality, or disability
NSFW content
Suspicious links - phishing, IP grabbers, or malware
Doxxing or DDoS involvement
Hate speech - racism, nazism, and similar content
All other rules found in the #rules channel apply.

Survival (Minecraft)

All in-game rules apply (/rules)
Cheating is forbidden and will result in a 30d ban
You are allowed to swear, but please keep it civil and do not overdo it.
Keep toxicity/trolling to a minimum, as stated before, you never know what someone is going through on the other end.
Do not abuse the report feature, punishments will be given.

FreeOP

All in-game rules apply (/rules)
Any attempt to harm the server in any way will result in a permanent ban
Do not spam the report feature, you will be punished for that.

Forums

The following are not permitted:

Personal attacks or deliberate flame-baiting
Spamming, power-posting, or empty/nonsensical posts
Necro-bumping threads older than 90 days unless the thread is stickied and you have something meaningful to add
Thread hijacking - posting off-topic content in an existing thread
Cross-posting the same content across multiple boards
Plagiarism
Sharing personal information about yourself or others
URLs containing viruses, malware, phishing pages, or IP grabbers
Hate speech
Fake quoting or falsely attributing statements to other members

Display names must be alphanumeric. One non-alphanumeric character is permitted at the start or end, and one underscore in the middle. Deliberately unreadable display names are not allowed.
Sanctions range from a warning and post deletion to a permanent forum ban depending on severity. Staff may act on behavior not explicitly listed here if it is causing genuine disruption.
